Operating system is a very complex system. Operating System is a number of software put together to control the all the activities on a Computer. It controls the entire activities of the computer. It controls the computer hardware and all the other software in a computer. It manages the Hard Disk, Computer Memory and all other Processes in the Computer. |
It also enables applications to run on a computer. The major functions of the
operating system are disk management, memory management including virtual
memory, process management and computer security. |
